WE'RE MAKING A DIFFERENCE

We're training youth to become guardians of tomorrow.

Over the past 10 years, we’ve worked with hundreds of youth from communities across North America. Our programs help young people connect to nature, honor their heritage, build community, and develop the physical and mental skills to overcome challenges.

Our lasting impact will be measured by the future created by these youth—as they become leaders of tomorrow.

Improves Health and Fitness

Through physically demanding training and an emphasis on making positive, healthy decisions, our program can lead to long-term improvements in health and wellness.

Increases Environmental Awareness

We’re sharing sacred traditions of appreciation for the natural world and how to live in harmony with it by using resources respectfully and sustainably.

Restores Cultural Connections

Teaching youth about the rich traditions and cultural practices of their Native American ancestors instills pride and connection to heritage, and keeps important traditions alive in our society.

Strengthens Communities

By teaching team-building, leadership, empathy, and community service, we are providing youth with essential skills that will empower them to strengthen their communities and give back to those in need.

Testimonials and videos

When the Ambassadors of Guardian Art came down, the children were immediately engaged in a way I have not seen, especially from a visitor. The kids were excited and you could tell they never wanted it to end... They really got into the idea of being a hero, carrying objects that resembled important things such as family, animals, and even sacred objects from our culture.

The [participants] left the seminar with a new sense of emotional, mental strength, and a different perspective of confidence and self-esteem. They were asking the kind instructors of Guardian Art if they would come back again. We are always excited to have them come back again to help our communities become stronger.

This program helped our youth discover their purpose and hope for the future. Guardian Art inspired so many young lives and still today the youth disuse the fire that was sparked within them.

These workshops promoted emotional and physical wellbeing for the youth that attended them. In our community, traditional Lacrosse is a big part of our culture, and the Guardian Art Program was able to incorporate this into the workshops. Great Owl and his team brought an amazing sense of discipline, structure, maturity, respect, and fun that all of our kids connected with.
